Jake Paul doesn’t appear to have limited himself regarding potential call-outs. He has dismissed any restrictions of the current weight classes. Walking somewhere around 190 lbs, ‘The Problem Child’ has eyed the lightweight boxer, Gervonta Davis, as one of his future opponents. However, as the three-weight champion lashed back, it ignited a verbal feud between both the American fighters.

A few hours back, Jake Paul posted a picture on social media, revealing a potential hit-list of his opponents. Surprisingly, the list had umpteen big names from the boxing and UFC rosters, including Canelo Alvarez, the Diaz brothers, Conor McGregor, and Gervonta Davis.

Meanwhile, Davis responded to the post on Twitter and urged ‘The Problem Child’ to keep him away from all the drama. But that didn’t sit well with Paul. Hence, the 24-year-old advanced the feud by mocking Davis’ height.

Jake Paul wrote, “you’re just mad you’re not tall enough to ride the rides at the amusement park.”

25-0 as a boxer with 24 KOs on board, Gervonta Davis has captured world titles at 130 lbs, 135 lbs, and 140 lbs. Hence, he is way ahead of Jake Paul at this stage and doesn’t look to compete in non-title bouts. Furthermore, Davis’ reputation as a star will always bring him big names. So a showdown between him and Paul may not occur. But what does the future hold?

Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis- Will it happen?

The current situation puts a clear ‘No’ to the answer. Meanwhile, the professional rule-set will demand both men to fall under a similar weight category. As of now, a fight between the two would be an immense mismatch, as they both hail from two distinct divisions. However, an open weight exhibition in the future can bring both contenders against each other.
