According to UFC President, Paul should align with boxing’s greatest promoters like Don King, Bob Arum, Frank Warren, and Eddie Hearn, which would help him in understanding the business of promoting a fight.
After Tommy Fury’s withdrawal from the fight, ‘The Problem Child’ was eager to save the scheduled event at Madison Square Garden. For this, he agreed to face an established boxer, Hasim Rahman Jr, on short notice. The fight created a pretty intense buzz due to Paul’s experiment with a professional boxer.
However, all efforts made by him went in vain, when Rahman Jr. disappointed him as he could not meet the agreed upon weight. The cancellation of the fight incurred a heavy loss for the Ohio-based boxer.
