The Paul brother, Logan Paul and Jake Paul, are one of the biggest topics of the sport right now. The two YouTubers turned boxers have received immense criticism from boxing fans for their eccentric behavior and ambitious call-outs.

In addition to this, the two internet superstars do not do themselves any favors by making controversial and disrespectful comments. And Jake Paul’s comments about his brother’s performance against Floyd Mayweather will only add to this.

The 3-0 boxer spoke on an episode of Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast. ‘The Maverick’ addressed the Conor McGregor comparisons and said, “And bro, this Conor conversation is funny too. What’s the stat?” He then added, “10th round, but I think I landed more punches… either I landed more punches than Conor did, or Floyd hit Conor more than me. One of them.”

The Problem Child’ responded to this by saying, “Either way, you did better than Conor McGregor against Floyd Mayweather.” Thus, after the younger Paul claimed his brother beat Floyd Mayweather, he has now said ‘The Maverick’ did better than Conor McGregor.

Jake Paul explains why stats mean nothing

The comments from the YouTuber turned boxer will draw heaps of criticism again. While Logan Paul did take a better approach to the fight than McGregor, it is impossible to compare an exhibition event to a professional bout. Moreover, Logan Paul was wrong, and the stats show McGregor did better in a fight with higher stakes.

However, Jake Paul is undeterred by the stats. He explained why they mean nothing by saying, “I saw a lot of people posting the stats. Like the side-by-side, punching stats… They made you look like you didn’t do as good as people thought, right?”

“But, in the Jake Paul vs. Nate Robinson fight when I posted the side-by-side stats, the stats said that he hit me like eight times, and I only hit him like four times. Bro, so f**k those f***ing stats. Whoever’s counting that is a f***ing idiot.”

Therefore, these comments from ‘The Problem Child’ showed that he actually believes Logan Paul did better than Conor McGregor in the ring. However, there will be very few who agree with him on this.
