Lamenting the death anniversary of ‘Black Mamba’ in 2022, celebrities from all walks of life celebrated the legacy of Kobe Bryant. Boxers Jake Paul and Oscar De La Hoya were among them.

Jake Paul magnified mamba mentality in his own unique tone. Remembering Kobe, he tweeted, “24 hours a day, 8 days a week #mambaMentality Kobe”.

Kobe had once defined Mamba Mentality in the Amazon Book Review. He said, “Mamba mentality is all about focusing on the process and trusting in the hard work when it matters most. It’s the ultimate mantra for the competitive spirit.  It started just as a hashtag that came to me one day, and it’s grown into something athletes — and even non-athletes — embrace as a mindset.”

This is a sign of how athletes continue to hold Bryant in high regard.

Oscar De La Hoya posted Kobe Bryant’s picture on an Instagram story
