UFC commentator and JRE host Joe Rogan recently shared his opinion on the match-up. However, this was during the time the fight was not confirmed and was purely speculative. In his podcast, Rogan stated that it would be Paul’s toughest challenge if the fight ever materialized and that Silva is an elite talent capable in all forms of martial arts. “If Jake Paul really decides to fight Anderson, that’s a very, very, very tough fight. Anderson, if he just went straight into boxing, would have been a f*cking world champion.”

It looks like Rogan’s wish has finally come true. The Problem Child already has a great track record with MMA fighters with wins over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren. However, Silva is a pure striker and not a wrestler like Woodley or Askren, who could pose a threat. The only thing Paul has an advantage in would be his age. He is more than 20 years younger than Sliva.
