Moreover, it seems like he is not satisfied with just facing Silva and has set his sight on tougher competition. Paul recently revealed that Floyd Mayweather has shown interest in fighting him in the upcoming months. In an interview, ES NEWS Paul stated that he was interested to take on ‘Money’ only if his professional record was on the line.

Floyd’s expressed interest in fighting me except I would only do it if it was an actual professional bout because I’m going to take his undefeated record. I’m not going to do that exhibition b*****it” said Paul.

This was not all, as he also revealed why Mayweather will be forced to take him on. He claimed that the former champion had pending tax payments and would be bankrupt after paying them, forcing him to face Paul. He also stated that this fight could rake in up to $200 million “That’s a massive fight and I think once his tax payments start to settle in and s**t and he realizes he has no money that fight could make 100, 200 million dollars and he’ll need to do it.” he added.

This might be a longshot as Mayweather is currently far from bankruptcy and has an estimated net worth of $450 million. However, both Paul brothers have pointed out that Mayweather is actually broke.

Jake Paul believes Floyd Mayweather is bankrupt

Mayweather retired from professional boxing back in 2017 after facing Conor McGregor, but still competed in exhibition bouts. Notably, he faced Jake’s brother Logan Paul in an exhibition bout back in 2021. However, in an interview with Rob Moore, he stated that Mayweather was ‘broke’ and spent all of his money on girls. “Floyd Mayweather is broke. I’ve been saying it all along. I think he probably spent it on the girls he pays to be around him,” said Paul

This statement might be the result of Logan Paul accusing Mayweather of not paying him for their exhibition bout. Moreover, there is no actual proof that the boxing legend has gone bankrupt with this just being speculation from Paul.
