In a recent pinch, Paul lead MVP Prospects IV concluded in Orlando, Florida with a series of action packed fights, headlining Yoenis Tellez vs. Joseph Jackson. Not just Jan Paul, Jake Paul has another potential successor

First of all, no, Jan Paul and Jake Paul aren’t related! Regardless, when Fields asked about Paul’s successor highlighting Paul’s quick rise to fame and his upcoming fight against Mike Tyson, the Cleveland born influencer was quick with the answer. He quipped, “I would say my long-lost brother Jan Paul. We got separated at birth.”

The former Disney star further praised the boxer, saying, “he is very, very talented.” However, Jan’s unanimous decision victory over David Perez and an unbeaten record wasn’t enough to make him the sole heir. Paul also added, “Or Mr. Yoenis Tellez, who was in the main event. Shout out Cuba, but they [have] real potential out here.”

Tellez from Cuba recently defeated his much experienced counterpart Joseph Jackson on the MVP Prospects VI main card. Despite some friction in the mid rounds, the Cuban native sailed his way to a unanimous decision victory! Nevertheless, Paul’s long-lost brother seemed to have caught someone else’s eye.

Paul’s friend and star fighter says “We are big on Jake’s twin Jan Paul”

Right after the interview with Paul went live on social media, Amanda Serrano caught wind of Paul’s statement about Jan Paul. And, of course, working closely with Paul, ‘The Real Deal’ Serrano had a few things to say. She didn’t just highlight similarities between Jake and Jan, but also revealed the only way to differentiate between them.

In a tweet yesterday, Serrano wrote, “This is a Fact! We are big on Jake’s twin Jan Paul Rivera who they were split at birth & now finally reunited. I can see all the resemblance from a mile away. Now @jakepaul new hairstyle is the Only way I can tell them Apart.” While it’s clearly a joke, the fun dynamics between the fighters and their promoter may show the internal workings of the company.

At the end of the day, people will have to wait and see whether Jan Paul follows Jake’s footsteps. However, if he manages to keep delivering entertaining fights such as his last, Paul’s popularity might not elude Jan for long. Do you think Jan Paul is the next Jake Paul?
