KSI’s manager, Mams Taylor, meanwhile, accused Jake Paul of avoiding a fight with his client.

Mams Taylor accuses Paul of Ducking

Earlier, Taylor revealed on The MMA Hour that they had nearly finalized terms for a match in December at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, but Paul backed out, expressing a preference for a bigger-name opponent. Taylor suggested that Paul, having suffered his first loss against Fury in February, may be hesitant due to having “a lot more to lose” compared to KSI.

Furthermore, Taylor hinted that an upset victory could potentially reignite discussions for a bout with Jake Paul. Subsequently, Jake Paul’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian, initially proposed that Paul would fight KSI at a weight below his usual 185 lbs, with the winner taking the loser’s purse.

However, if KSI agreed to face Paul at 185 lbs, Bidarian expressed willingness for the fight to take place in the UK. In response, Mams Taylor, called for a compromise, suggesting that both sides meet in the middle at 180 lbs. Taylor acknowledged the difficulty for KSI, who fought his last match at 181 lbs, to go up to 185 lbs, and similarly, for Paul, who fought Nate Diaz at 185 lbs, to come down to 175 lbs. The proposed compromise at 180 lbs aims to find common ground for a potential Jake Paul vs. KSI showdown.
