Jake Paul is one of boxing’s most controversial personalities in recent history. Everything ‘The Problem Child’ does, attracts immense criticism from boxing fans. This only got worse when the internet sensation tried to troll boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather.
The YouTuber turned boxer faced off with Mayweather after the first press conference for the Mayweather-Logan Paul exhibition bout. After their interaction, Jake Paul stole Mayweather’s hat and tried to run away. He has now revealed the scary outcome of his joke.

The 3-0 boxer took to Twitter to reveal what is really happening because of his actions. He wrote, “word on the street already is that Floyd is sending goons after me to try and kill me or hurt me.” Paul then added, “if I die……. I died for the hat.”

These comments showed Mayweather was not messing about when he shouted that he would kill Jake Paul during the bust-up. However, few would have predicted it to become as serious as this. Despite that, Paul still clearly sees the funny side of it all.
What else happened because of Jake Paul taking Floyd Mayweather’s hat?
There is no information to confirm whether these claims from ‘The Problem Child’ are true. However, it shows the extent to which Mayweather took offense. Clearly, the former multi-weight world champion felt disrespected by what happened. However, what else transpired?

Recent video footage showed that Logan Paul tried to jump in to help his brother, but his security held him back. Moreover, Jake Paul even changed his Twitter bio to ‘Gotcha Hat’. However, they have since banned him from the June 6 fight for his actions in the melee.
The internet had a field day reacting to the news, with many pros and fans providing their opinion on the scuffle. Therefore, this may have fueled a potential bout between ‘The Problem Child’ and Mayweather. Only time will tell if things escalate beyond what we saw in the stadium.
