Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is one of the most formidable forces in the history of boxing. Recently, YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul shared his thoughts on beating up Tyson.

Paul was talking to Mirror Fighting, ahead of the highly anticipated Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor showdown. In conversation, Paul was asked if he would feel bad beating up Tyson at 55.

Paul responded by saying that he was in awe of the former champions’ physical prowess at his current age. He casually mentioned that he wouldn’t feel bad about beating Tyson.

But, he was also quick to add that Tyson is still a force to reckon with. Paul said, “I mean have you seen him. Nah, like he’s still hitting the pads like he’s crazy. Still is a killer, still in phenomenal shape. And he has a big weight advantage.”

Moreover, Paul also mentioned how the fight would aid him in building his legacy. He said, “For me, that would be the most legendary fight. And, for my legacy, it’d be the most fun fight for me. The most motivating, sell the most pay per views.”

Further, he also added what it would mean for him to share the ring with a legend like Tyson. Paul said, “To share the ring with a legend, would be something that I could talk about for the rest of my life. And, share it with my kids.”

However, Paul did not miss the opportunity to take a dig at Tommy Fury, saying, “Why fight Tommy Fury, when you can fight Mike Tyson.”

Paul has silenced critics with his stellar performance in the ring. Meanwhile, he also expressed his desire to fight Tyson.

Paul was in an interview with David Alorka of SecondsOut. Talking about fighting Tyson, he said, “It’d be so epic to go up against one of my idols and then merge the world of the old boxing generation and this new boxing generation.”

But, Paul had an intriguing idea, in case his ears get bitten during the probable fight. He said, “I would wear tape on my ears, so he didn’t bite him off.”
