Speaking to TMZ on YouTube, Paul said Mayweather’s call out surprised him. ‘Money Mayweather’ is supposed to fight Jake Paul’s brother, Logan Paul, in an exhibition fight. Jake Paul even addressed that fight.

He said Mayweather hasn’t even fought his brother but is already calling them out. However, he said a fight against the legendary boxer is possible. “We’ll see how that fight [against Logan Paul] goes, and yeah, I could totally see a Jake Paul vs. Floyd match-up, you know, a year from now. That’s totally, totally possible,” said Paul.

Jake Paul calls Floyd Mayweather ‘Money Hungry’

The controversial internet sensation didn’t stop there. He admitted Mayweather would be a tougher fight than Conor McGregor, whom he has been calling out for a while now. However, ‘The Problem Child’ insisted that the 50-0 fighter would not scare him in the ring. He then questioned his intentions for wanting the fights.

Paul said, “It just seems like this guy is money hungry. It seems like he hasn’t paid his taxes or some sh*t, and he just wants to fight everyone. He’s almost fifty-years-old, and this guy is calling out people half his age.”

Hardcore boxing fans will share this view with Paul. As a legendary boxer, Floyd Mayweather doesn’t have to entertain such call-outs, let alone give call-outs of his own. It will only make fans and critics question his intentions.

Either way, if the two are to fight each other, it would happen in 2022 at the earliest. However, stranger things have happened in the sport in recent times.
