Youtube sensation Jake Paul is gearing up for the biggest challenge of his career in former reality show star Tommy Fury. Both fighters are currently undefeated with ‘The Problem Child’ coming off a victory over former UFC champion Anderson Silva. However, there has been a lot of criticism surrounding the YouTuber about the opponents he chooses for the fight.

Paul has faced multiple fighters who have come from an MMA background and is yet to box a top-level professional boxer. Now, he looks to erase this criticism of him as he takes on Fury who comes from a boxing background with his family being at the forefront of the sport. Moreover, he even revealed why he needed to prove that he is now a different boxer who could compete with high-level competition.

In a recent interview with British TV personality Piers Morgan, Paul revealed that this would be the most important fight of his boxing career. Moreover, he added that he need to prove to everyone that he could stand toe to toe with a professional boxer and shut down all his critics.

There’s a lot on the line like you said it’s the US vs the UK. It’s the Fury’s vs the Paul’s and I have to prove that I can go out there and beat a professional boxer because that’s been the number one criticism of my career so super excited for this,” he said.

Paul and Fury were scheduled to face each other twice in their careers before. However, both fights would get called off due to Fury pulling out with either injuries or visa issues. This is not the case anymore as the fight will take place on February 25 in Saudi Arabia, with both fighters looking motivated to compete inside the squared circle.

In the press conference leading up to the fight, Paul wanted to up the stakes for this match He went to make Tommy an offer where he would get double the money of his purse if he won but would lose his purse as well if he lost. “If you win, I’ll pay you double what I’m paying you already. But if I win I take everything that I’m paying you. Since you are so confident, deal or no deal,” he said.

Although, the 8-0 boxer got up to address the offer it was his father John who would accept the deal. “Deal. You’ve got a deal. All or nothing. You’ve got it! You’ve got it!” John replied. With the stakes now being taken up a notch this fight poses to be an even more exciting matchup.
