YouTube star Jake Paul is coming off the biggest fight of his career against legendary Mike Tyson. Unsurprisingly, people expect he must have pocketed quite the amount for it. However, no official numbers have been revealed yet—besides some speculative figures. In the meantime, ‘The Problem Child’ has shed more light on the purse, and what he plans to do with the money.

Paul defeated Tyson on Friday at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, via a unanimous decision, which was received poorly by the public. Despite that, the bout managed to attract 65 million concurrent viewers on Netflix on fight night. It even broke Canelo Alvarez’s $9 million gate revenue record in Texas, with $18 million, doubling the previous record.

Previously, Paul had hinted at the amount he would be making from the Tyson fight during the August 18th press conference, promoting the bout. “I’m here to make $40 million and knock out a legend,” he exclaimed. However, this was never confirmed officially by Paul’s promotion, MVP, who also promoted the bout. They never confirmed the figure either.

Regardless, while appearing on the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast with this brother recently, he spoke about the money he received for the first time. Near the end of the hour-long episode, Logan Paul probed Jake, asking whether he made $90 million from the bout. “No, who said that,” remarked Paul surprisedly. The WWE star followed that by asking whether ‘El Gallo’ made $170 million.

“That’s not true,” Paul said. “I made a lot of money. The most money I’ve made ever.” Unable to draw out the actual number from his younger brother, ‘The Maverick’ switched tactics. He asked what he would do with the money, just for Jake Paul to reveal, “Probably [buy] a ranch… A big piece of property… I’m going to pimp it out.”

Meanwhile, Jake Paul seems to have made a surprising offer to his brother Logan.

Jake Paul is ready to move to WWE for Logan Paul

‘The Problem Child’ has revealed he is ready to move to the world of professional wrestling with his brother Logan. During the ‘Impaulsive’ episode, Logan asked whether Jake would consider such an option, with Paul accepting the offer, but not as a wrestler. “I would love to, but I would want to be like your Paul Heyman,” Jake said.

“I wouldn’t want to wrestle as much, like I could do some s**t, but I’d want to be like your sidekick businessman or some s**t.” Logan, who is the former WWE United States Champion, suggested that Jake should wait till he retires from the sport of boxing before taking up the role. When asked why not now, Logan claimed it’s a “time-consuming” job.

That said, despite hinting at a big payday, Jake Paul didn’t want to say exactly how much he made from the Mike Tyson fight. However, his previous statement suggests it could be $40 million. How much do you think he made?
