There has been a lot of speculation regarding a match between the two. However, it seems like Paul doesn’t see this fight as advancing his boxing career. The Problem Child addressed this on UFC bantamweight contender Sean O Malley’s podcast after he was asked about a potential fight with the ‘Mafia’ kickboxer. Paul claimed that although he does see the interest in this match-up, it won’t advance his boxing career further.

Is definitely a potential fight, but it sorta takes me backwards from where I’m going. That’s more like a celebrity influencer sort of fighting again, even though he was a kickboxing world champion,” said Paul.

Moreover, he stated that he has been criticized a lot for taking matchups that favored him and this fight would put him in a similar position. However, according to him, this could be a ‘fun’ fight. “people will make the argument well. He’s not a real boxer and you know he’s been out of the ring. You know he’s older now so there’s always gonna be an excuse for people, but I would love to fight him for fun just after my next fight.” He added.

Paul is still very inexperienced in his boxing career, but feels like this match would not put his career back on track. However, from a financial perspective, this could be a huge payday for both and an exciting fight for the fans.

The beef between Jake Paul and Andrew Tate

Paul did not get introduced to Tate like the rest of us. He was contacted by Top G before Tate was famous, as Paul revealed an Instagram message request from Tate a few years back. Moreover, since his bout against Rahman Jr. got canceled, Paul has called out Tate for a fight on multiple occasions and also taken shots at him on the internet.

Tate had also previously called out Paul for a fight and even offered $3 million. He has also taken a few subtle shots at The Problem Child on popular Twitch streamer Adin Ross’ streams. He stated that there were intricate negotiations going on that cannot be discussed on the internet.
