

The YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul is gradually becoming one of the highest paid athletes in the sport. Meanwhile, Paul took to social media to taunt WBA (Regular) lightweight champion Gervonta Davis for deleting his tweet regarding a USD 2 million bet.

Paul took to Twitter to announce that he got his fight outcome predictions right. He mentioned that he had guessed David Benavidez will against David Lemieux via a knockout. Moreover, he also guessed that Ashton Sylve will defeat Giovanni Gutierrez through a knockout.
In fact, Jake Paul also gave a prediction for the Rolando Romero vs Gervonta Davis showdown at the Barclays Center on May 28. He predicted that Romero will win by decision.

Paul’s statement irked Davis. Moreover, in a now-deleted tweet, Davis asked Paul if he wants to bet USD 2 million on the outcome. In response, Paul mentioned that he pays more taxes than Davis earns from the sport.
Later, it was reported that Davis deleted his tweet.

When Paul noticed that the tweet was deleted, he took to social media to take a swipe at Davis. He posted a video of their tweet exchange, and said, “This tweet was deleted by the tweet author. Gervonta, man you’re a f*c*ing b*tch.”

It is a waiting game until May 28 to know if Paul’s predictions come true.

Gervonta Davis was not the only person who challenged Jake Paul for the bet regarding the Romero vs Davis bout prediction.

WBC and WBO junior lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson also challenged Paul to a bet. It is worth noting that Stevenson is pretty confident about Davis’ victory. In fact, he mentioned, “Rolly is getting slept.”
It might be safe to assume that Stevenson believes that Romero will get knocked out by Davis. With the hilarious exchanges and ‘bets’ between the champs, the Davis vs Romero bout will surely be a sight to see.
