Jake Paul Takes Another Swipe at Conor McGregor – Calls for ‘The Notorious’ to Face Ben Askren

The Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor rivalry has been one of the biggest surprises in the world of combat sports. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has been the talk of the sport for a few months now, with people heavily discussing his trash talk against ‘The Notorious.’

Jake Paul has lashed out at Conor McGregor multiple times since he first called him out. Although he admitted his respect for the UFC champion, he has gotten personal in several instances and even insulted McGregor’s wife.

The 3-0 boxer has no intention of stopping. He now took to his Twitter to take another swipe at the former UFC double champion. He shared a picture of Ben Askren’s boxing record and McGregor’s boxing record and captioned it, “this is the fight we all wanna see.”

This comes as a result of McGregor’s tweet discrediting the concept of YouTubers entering the boxing ring. The tweet from ‘The Notorious’ did not go down well with ‘The Problem Child’, and as a result, Paul has lashed out at McGregor.

Could Jake Paul fight Conor McGregor next?

This comment from Paul showed that the rivalry between the two has not died down. However, in previous instances, McGregor acknowledged none of Paul’s trash-talk. This time, the UFC superstar showed he is paying attention. So could the two actually fight?

The reality is that, regardless of Paul’s social media fame, he cannot attract a name like McGregor. The former UFC champion has to prove his worth in MMA again after another defeat. Therefore, his full focus will be on regaining his success in the UFC.

Moreover, fighting Jake Paul right now would make no sense for McGregor. Although Paul earned a lucrative pay-check from fighting Ben Askren, it is only a fraction of the money the Irishman makes from his fights. Therefore, Paul cannot attract McGregor even with his fame and digs.
