Recently, ‘The Problem Child’ joined Teddy Atlas and co-host, Ken Rideout, for a conversation about his rise in boxing and love for the sport.

While interacting, the 25-year-old opened up about his next fight. In the course, he openly called out former six-weight division champ, Oscar De La Hoya.

‘The Problem Child’ said, “Oscar, if you’re watching this man get up off the couch and start training because we can make that happen.”

Notably, ‘The Golden Boy’ has announced earlier that he wanted to lace gloves and step inside the ring again after taking a pause from the competitive sport decades ago.

De La Hoya told TMZ Sports, “Personally, right now I’m not motivated because of COVID. I was actually in great shape and then COVID hit me, so my morale right now is a little low in terms of me fighting in the ring personally.”

According to TMZ Sports, the Hall of Famer De La Hoya believes that ‘The Problem Child’ has the potential to reach the apex in the sport of boxing.

He said, “Jake Paul is the real deal. And I dare anyone who has boxing experience who has MMA experience to call him out, ’cause I’ll tell you one thing, this guy can beat a lot of good champions, and even great champions.”
