

Many fights have been canceled at the last moment over the years. However, the most recent backout debacle occurred when Tommy Fury couldn’t make it to fight his arch-nemesis, Jake Paul. After Fury’s father, John Fury’s interview revealed new information about Tommy Fury, which enraged Paul.

Following this revelation, Paul threatened to sue Fury for not holding up to his contract and showing up for the fight.

Why does Jake Paul want to sue Tommy Fury?
The world would have finally witnessed the end to a long-standing beef between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury. However, weeks before the fight, Fury was denied entry to America and he couldn’t make it to the fight. Hence, the fight was canceled.

However, since then John Fury gave an interview with DAZN where he exposed new details about Tommy Fury’s training camp. He claimed that his son didn’t train as hard as he should have, which caused him to be overweight.

‘The Problem Child’ was furious upon knowing this and reacted immediately. Paul claimed that he could sue Fury for not upholding his end of the deal after his father exposed him. He said, “I should sue this fool. Own dad exposes why he pulled out a second time.”
Who is Jake Paul’s new opponent?
Since Fury pulled out of the fight, the Ohio-born fighter had to look for a new opponent to fill that spot. The wait is finally over as the one to go toe to toe against Paul is the son of a legendary boxer, Hasim Rahman Jr.

Rahman is a heavyweight boxer so he will have to come down to cruiserweight to fight Paul. He is an extremely prolific fighter with over 100 amateur wins. Additionally, his professional boxing record stands at an impressive 12-1 with 6 wins coming by way of knockout.
