Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul doesn’t just want to beat his opponents in the ring, he wants to look good while going it. In his rematch against Tyron Woodley in 2021, ‘The Problem Child’ supposedly wore boxing shorts worth a staggering $1.2 million. In an extravagant display, Paul wore white shorts adorned with silver which also had Rolex watches on the waistband. Now, with his ring walk outfit for his upcoming fight against Mike Tyson on November 15, he plans an even more lavish display.

In an interview posted by Jake Paul’s sports betting company Betr on X, ‘The Problem Child’ was asked, “How do you feel about the outfits that are being put together for you and the direction that you are taking it with your style?” Paul promptly replied, “We are going for the most expensive fight shorts ever.”

He further said that the “initial designs” and “renderings” of the shorts they are planning to reveal on fight night are “absolutely insane”. “I am very very excited to unveil them to the world,” he stated. However, Paul does have one niggling doubt about the shorts—“Hopefully, it is not too heavy, that might be the only problem. We will see.” Surely, Paul doesn’t want his pants to weigh him down while fighting the ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ who holds the reputation of being a ferocious knockout artist.

But, what could contribute to the heaviness of the shorts? Well, the interviewer left us with a hint of what could be expected on fight night. “They were inspired by a Birkin bag so there is going to be some weight on them,” the interviewer remarked. To build on the suspense, Jake Paul further teased, “There’s gonna be some weight. Diamonds, all of that!”

Only one thing on Jake Paul’s mind!

In his last fight against Mike Perry, Jake was dominant, knocking down the BKFC’s ‘King of violence’ three times, before getting the stoppage win in the sixth round. Following his win, in the in-ring interview, Paul boldly declared that his upcoming fight against ‘Iron Mike’ would end in a knockout win in his favor.

“November 15th, Mike Tyson is training, he’s back, looking crazier than ever. November 15th on Netflix, I’m gonna get another KO and prove everyone wrong once again,” Paul confidently said.

The former Disney star acknowledged that Tyson is a “legend” of the sport. But, on fight night, the 27-year-old fighter vowed to take his “throne”.

“Mike, It’s an honor to get in the ring with you. I’m so, so honored; you’re a legend, but I’m going to take your throne,” Jake Paul further stated.

Will you be witnessing the 58-year-old Mike Tyson take on the 27-year-old Jake Paul exclusively on Netflix?
