YouTube star turned boxer, Jake Paul, has urged Ryan Garcia to seek mental help and go into rehab. The Victorville native has recently found himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, especially after he made racist and Islamophobic remarks while taking part in an X-spaces conversation a few weeks ago.

Garcia, 25, has since apologized for his actions and statements, claiming he is going into rehab to become a positive influence and make a real change in his life. Despite his assurances, his recent posts on X suggest otherwise. One such post about Jake Paul seems to have provoked a strong reaction from the Problem Child. During an appearance on the BS w/Jake Paul podcast, Garcia’s comments appeared to force ‘The Problem Child’ into publicly calling him out.

Jake Paul questions – Is Ryan Garcia really in rehab?

Ahead of Paul’s bout against Mike Perry last weekend, the Victorville puncher hopped on X to write, “Jake Paul will lose tonight. Confirmed. Just got word”, alluding to the fight being fixed. In a following tweet, he even wrote, “I am betting on Mike Perry” either to slight Paul or just for the clout.

Ryan Garcia’s claims, of course, were proven to be false when Jake Paul absolutely dominated Perry in their eight-round bout, culminating in a sixth-round stoppage victory. So, when one of Paul’s co-hosts brought up his X post during the podcast today, Paul immediately erupted with anger, stating, “F**k that crackhead”.

But this wasn’t the end! Paul’s anger quickly turned into sympathy, considering Garcia’s condition lately. Paul questioned how Garcia could have access to his phone if he really was in rehab to become a better person. “Ryan, really bro. What the f**k are you doing!”, Paul lamented.

Trying to emphasize the severity of his situation, Paul said, “Actually, as your friend and someone that cares about you, like, all the guys you have around you are f**king dweebs, yes men… Go to rehab now.” While Jake Paul seems to have the best intentions for Garcia, a prior statement from the WBC president suggests Ryan Garcia is not actually looking for any help.

Mauricio Sulaiman’s offer for help went unanswered

Immediately after Ryan Garcia’s rant had started making national headlines, the World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman stated in a post that the Victorville native has been banned from fighting for their belts indefinitely. Sulaiman emphasized that their organization does not support Garcia’s behavior or his statements.

For a long time, Ryan Garcia has shown signs of problematic behavior, despite, at one point, claiming it was all an act to promote his fight against Devin Haney. So, Suilaman added, “I fear for Ryan[‘s] well being as he has declined multiple attempts for our help with mental health and substance abuse.”

So, is Ryan Garcia in rehab? Only the 25-year-old boxer knows the answer to that question at this point. However, his tweets don’t indicate the rehab is working very well for him. So you think Garcia is getting the help he needs?
