Over the years, there have been only a handful of brave souls who have dared to stand Mike Tyson’s wrath. And never in a million years anyone would have thought Jake Paul would be one of them. However, that’s the reality today! An influencer boxer is about to enter the ring against ferocious former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.
Not just enter the ring, the Cleveland born social media star has now promised to end Tyson once and for all. The duo is slated to dance in the ring on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Speaking to Paul, a representative from DAZN Boxing quickly probed him about his thoughts on the impact the Tyson fights have had on the sport. So, Paul said, “This is very surreal. This is one of the biggest fights in history and I am just honored to be a part of it. And with a dance partner like Mike Tyson, I could have never dreamt of this.”

He further added, “I am humbled. I owe it all to my fans and supporters. And we just got here through hard work, taking risks and knocking people out.” According to Paul, he would look to do the same, even with Tyson in their upcoming fight. “Mikey, uncle Mike I love you, you are looking amazing but there could only be one winner and I am sorry but I gotta end you, brother,” said Paul.

Jake Paul has had a relatively great time in the sport. Besides his loss to Tommy Fury, Paul hasn’t really faced the repercussions of his blatant call outs. However, against Tyson, he just might have bitten off more than he could chew. At least that’s what a lot of people were saying, highlighting Tyson’s weight.
“I just saw Jake yesterday, he’s 230 pounds. He’s big, really big. He said he feels as fast as he does at 185.” 🤯

In his last outing, Tyson weighed in at 220.4 pounds against Roy Jones Jr. So, it’s safe to assume he would aim for a similar weight. Paul has always fought lower in weight, but that seems to have changed. Shane Mosley, who trained Paul for the AnEsonGib fight, said, “I just saw Jake yesterday, he’s 230 pounds. He’s big, really big. He said he feels as fast as he does at 185.”
With well over a month left in the clash, Jake Paul seems to have started marketing his upcoming fight with Mike Tyson. However, the question is, can he deliver on his promise? Can ‘The Problem Child’ do the unthinkable and put Tyson on the canvas?
