Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren: Press Conference Date and Time Announced

The Ben Askren vs. Jake Paul fight has been on the receiving end of criticism from many traditional boxing fans. And the antics between the two fighters have done no favors for the event. However, fans can expect more trash-talk from these two as the pre-event press-conference has been confirmed.

The two will fight as the main event of a card on April 17 that will feature a celebrity commentary team and famous music artists.

Jake Paul posted a video on his social media, which Fighthype.com was quick to catch onto. In the video, Paul announced the press conference when he said, “This Friday is the official press-conference. We’re flying into Vegas, going to be face to face with Ben Askren.”

‘Problem Child’ then revealed where fans could tune in for the press conference. “It’s going to be live on my YouTube channel. Friday, mark your calendars, Friday, 2 PM PST. Mark your calendars, be there.”

Thus, given all the trash-talk, fans can expect a fiery showdown between the two. ‘The Problem Child’ is famous for his digs at his opponent, while ‘Funky’ Askren has always welcomed a verbal battle.

Jake Paul travels in style

The internet sensation looked relaxed ahead of meeting Askren for the first time. The 2-0 boxer gave fans a glimpse of his lifestyle while traveling to Vegas for the showdown. His team even got him a surprise on the journey.

The video showed Jake Paul getting out of a luxury car and entering a private jet. On the flight, ‘Problem Child’ seemed at ease and also played a game of connect 4 with members of his team. They then surprised ‘Problem Child’ with a customized cake showing Askren getting punched in the face.

This showed Jake Paul is already getting in the mood for fireworks at the press conference. Given his past, the YouTuber may even have a surprise for ‘Funky’ on the day.
