There’s nothing slowing the YouTuber turned professional boxer, Jake Paul, down. After registering a brutal KO win over former NBA Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson, Paul has set his sight straight on former UFC dual champion Conor McGregor. Surprisingly enough, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn agrees with the idea.
Eddie Hearn on Jake Paul calling out Conor McGregor for a boxing match: "I think it's reasonably competitive, especially with the weight difference. Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor is a lot more competitive than Conor vs Floyd Mayweather." [@SiriusXMBoxing]

Jake Paul called McGregor out on multiple occasions in the lead up to the hugely anticipated PPV Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. where Paul took on Robinson in his second professional bout inside the boxing ring.
I’m wiping my ass with Dillon Danis then Jake Paul vs. @TheNotoriousMMA will happen and will win. Don’t underestimate the Cleveland kid. I will continue to shock the world. https://t.co/qilrPU2Etk

Jake Paul’s popularity has certainly left the entire world talking about the anticipated match-up. While McGregor has not commented on Paul’s call-out, even the UFC world is excited.
Conor McGregor last stepped inside the squared circle against former champion and arguably the greatest of all time, Floyd Mayweather.

Just a few months ago, McGregor called out 8-division champion Manny Pacquiao for a scrap inside the boxing ring. In a situation likes this, it seems almost unlikely that McGregor will fight Jake Paul.
Additionally, he has announced his return to the UFC. He will take on Dustin Poirier in January at UFC 257 in a potential #1 contender’s match for the UFC’s lightweight championship.
Be that as it may, you can’t entirely reject the possibility of a matchup between the YouTuber and the former lightweight kingpin taking place.

Will Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul take place?
There’s no denying that Jake Paul’s popularity will make many tune in whenever he steps inside the boxing ring. It was evident from the hugely successful PPV this past weekend. Needless to say, McGregor’s name in the same breath makes it one of the most highly anticipated matchups.

Two of the most popular names in their own field, Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul inside the boxing ring, is as big as it gets. However, the possibility of it happening anytime soon seems highly unlikely.

While it sounds interesting, there’s no reason to believe that McGregor will step inside the boxing ring against a YouTuber who has only fought fighters who lack experience on the canvas.
