Paul has put in the time to learn the craft of boxing and to be fair, he has got some decent skills. However, he is not a very high-level boxer yet. He has trained hard again for Woodley and has even taken tips from former UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic. Whether those skills translate into the contest itself, remains to be seen.

As for Woodley, he is also not the most skillful boxer. And at 39, he looked considerably slower in his earlier training videos. However, one can imagine he has worked on the sport since. Also, he trained with Floyd Mayweather for a while. An athlete of his caliber should be able to use the new traits he learned to his advantage.

Both fighters have good power in their hands. Woodley certainly has the ability to end any fight with one shot. Also, he knows better than Paul how to find the openings to land his trump-card shot.

That being said, it’s still unclear what’s Paul‘s level as a boxer. But if things get messy one can expect ‘The Chosen One‘ to have the advantage as he has been through wars in his career.
