The YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, always remains in the highlight for challenging the top-notch names in the combat sport. In an exclusive interview with ‘The Journey Podcast’, Paul unveiled his plans about taking a shot against the most decorated fighter of this generation, Canelo Alvarez.

Though ‘The Problem Child’ has made only five appearances inside the ring, he established himself among the most famous pugilist of this generation. This led him to reflect on a probable fight with the pound-for-pound king.
Surprisingly, Paul made a disappointing prediction. Though it sounded weird, as ‘The Problem Child’ had never before accepted the fact someone could beat him. He said, “I would take the fight, and right now I couldn’t beat Canelo. Five fights from now six fights from now. I can put up a f**king awesome f**king fight and we’ll see what happens.”
Furthermore, he shed light on the best possible time for locking horns with the Mexican superstar. Jake Paul added, “I want me versus Canelo to be my last fight. So it could happen three-four years from now but it just makes sense two biggest names two highest paid boxers in the sport going at it. Why not?”

However, this was not the first time when the 25-year-old expressed his eagerness to fight Alvarez.

‘The Problem Child’ wrote, “I hope you’re training Canelo.”

Mentioning the WBC mandatory challenger, Avni Yildirim, Paul added, “Why can he get the fight but I can’t? I’m bigger than that guy. I’m stronger.”

However, Alvarez paid no heed to the words from Paul. Therefore, he comes up time and again in interviews and media events and challenges the Mexican icon.
