Tommy Fury stayed true to his nickname, with an explosive performance against Daniel Bocianski, in true ‘TNT’ style. However, Jake Paul’s girlfriend, Julia Rose, revealed that she found the fight boring.

Rose was talking to Andi Purewal from Boxing Social.

She started off by talking about, how she is still proud of Jake Paul for his victory. And, how she still gets chills while re-watching the bout. Further, Rose also mentioned that she hopes that Fury would finally fight Paul.

In conversation, Purewal asked her about Fury’s performance against Bocianski.

In response, Rose said that she was not impressed with Fury’s performance. She further added, “I mean it’s hard when your standard of watching fighting is Jake. You know and that’s how I got into boxing, is watching Jake fight. It’s a tough you know, Jake a tough critic.”

Moreover, she also mentioned that she sides with Paul on Fury’s fight being lackluster. She said, “I wasn’t too impressed with Tommy’s fight. I mean there wasn’t an early knockout. Like what can I say kind of a boring, boring fight if you ask me.”

However, Rose hilariously added that if Fury fights Paul, she would have a mud wrestling bout with Fury’s girlfriend, Molly Mae.

The Jake Paul Tommy Fury Fiasco

Paul was initially scheduled to fight Tommy Fury on December 18, 2021, at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

But, the bout failed to eventuate. Fury had to withdraw from the fight as he was suffering from a severe bacterial chest infection. He was also recovering from a broken rib.

Meanwhile, with Fury withdrawing from the fight, Paul had to face Tyron Woodley for their sensational rematch.

Paul had been taking digs at Fury ever since, and nudging him for a fight.

However, Fury called out Paul after his stellar victory against Bocianski. He asked Paul to set up a fight, saying, “Get the contract signed you bum! Let’s get it done once and for all!”
