Influencer Boxing has been on the surge for a while. This new vertical has created a new audience interested in seeing social media influencers putting on their boxing gloves. The recent Misfits 008 event has come into the limelight for numerous reasons. Influencer Boxer Chase DeMoor made another boxing appearance at the event, which turned out to be one he will not be forgetting anytime soon.
DeMoor lost a match to Alan Belcher at the Misfits event. Even though he lost the fight via TKO, it seems like he confused the result with disqualification. However, Jake Paul’s trainer came forward to give a reality check to the ex-Too Hot To Handle contestant, drawing on basic boxing rules.

Paul’s trainer answers DeMoor’s questions
After the event, DeMoor took to his Twitter to ask a question to his fans. He explained how he could not understand why the YouTube Boxing record showed that he lost the fight to Belcher. He further added that, according to him, the fight was an exhibition. He wrote, “I went the distance with Alan belcher. Why does @YTBoxRec tryna say I lost in a exhibition“
I went the distance with Alan belcher. Why does @YTBoxRec tryna say I lost in a exhibition 🤣 it’s not a real fight plus it wasn’t me that stopped the fight my coaches and the ref got into a altercation, who do I appeal this too. There was 60 seconds left…idc pic.twitter.com/nSFtZ9yQuF

Benjamin Flores, who was responsible for training Jake Paul, responded to the tweet by DeMoor. He explained basic boxing rules and regulations to the Netflix star.

Calling out the 27-year-old, he wrote, “When your corner steps up on the ring apron during a round (unless the referee instructs him to recover your mouthpiece), it is an automatic TKO. “ It is safe to say that Flores gave DeMoor a reality check while being respectful at the same time. Notably, Flores has joined hands with Misfits as a council member.
DeMoor’s time in the boxing ring has not been impressive, as his loss to Belcher was his third consecutive one. He made his debut on the undercard of Enson Gib vs Austin McBroom and has gone on to appear in numerous misfits’ events. However, he seems to have not found the balance with the boxing gloves yet.
