The WBO Global and WBC Continental Americas middleweight title bout between Janibek Alimkhanuly and Hassan N’Dam stayed true to the buzz around it. Both the fighters gave it their all and kept each other on their toes. With their scuffle, they also kept the fans on the edge of their seats. Finally, it was Alimkhanuly who came on top to attain a vital T/KO win.

Alimkhanuly began the fight actively with his jabs and movements. N’Dam, on the other hand, looked to land some counterattacks to put his adversary on the back foot. Alimkhanuly marched N’Dam down with his style. The undefeated fighter looked to close the show early, and his intentions towards the same were evident.

‘Qazaq Style’, in the later rounds, turned aggressive. At the same time, he even began defending N’Dam’s jabs. Yet, N’Dam got his angle right, and he landed a good right hand on the undefeated boxer. The 37-year-old kept slick movements to dodge the heat coming off Alimkhanuly’s hands.

In round 3, ‘Qazaq Style’ landed a significant left hand, and he capitalized on the same with a barrage of punches. Moreover, Alimkhanuly even dropped N’Dam with a power-packed left uppercut. But it was in the concluding seconds of the round, and the veteran continued the fight despite a knockdown.

Alimkhanuly continued with his supreme uppercuts, but N’Dam, this time, had some response ready with counterattacks.

Alimkhanuly began round 5 with some powerful punches and he was on the brink of knocking N’Dam down again. But he couldn’t do so.

He also remained successful in cutting the distance and landing his straight lefts and uppercuts. Meanwhile, N’Dam didn’t seem in his element, however, he had the fighting spirit which kept him going.

But, in round 8, Alimkhanuly landed some thunderous punches on N’Dam, and the referee interfered to stop the fight.
