The first time around, it left fans unsatisfied, so they are running it back! In May 2015, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao entered the ring together for the first time. The fight saw a controversial unanimous decision win in Mayweather’s favor, with some claiming Pacquiao won the fight. However, when a reporter brought it up today – Jeff Mayweather couldn’t stop laughing.
On New Year’s Eve, the Philippines native unpacked the news about a rematch with Floyd during RIZIN 45, taking center stage during the MMA event. It’s worth mentioning that Mayweather has not confirmed the fight. However, RIZIN has hosted two Mayweather fights in the past, so it’s not impossible. To discuss the development, a reporter from The Mayweather Channel caught up with Jeff Mayweather today.

Jeff Mayweather: “[How] slow you got to watch it?”
While discussing the details of the potential fight in 2024, the reporter suggested that upon closer examination in slow motion, it was apparent that ‘Pac-man’ had won the fight. A bewildered Jeff could not believe Floyd’s win was brought to scrutiny, so he asked, “[How] slow you got to watch it?” The interviewer proceeded to explain his point further.
“Any speed [you] watch [it], but when [seen in] slow motion, you can really see the intricacies of the fight, which kind of show[s] that Manny was probably successful,” said the reporter. In response, Jeff once again found himself perplexed by the intricacies being mentioned and couldn’t stop himself from letting a chuckle slip at the nuanced interpretation. “I don’t know what those intricacies [are] whatever that is,” said Jeff. Speaking of chuckles, even ‘Pac-Man’ chuckled while announcing the rematch.

So, during the RIZN 45 event in Saitama, Japan, Nobuyuki Sakakibara, the president of RIZIN, invited ‘Pac-Man’ to the stage. Moreover, the former PRIDE president brought up the fight with Mayweather.
