Jermall Charlo had the opportunity but passed it to his brother! Now, he wishes to run it back, but will he get the opportunity? Jermall Charlo is all set to face Jose Benavidez on 25 November alongside Jose’s brother David Benavidez in the co-main event. However, Charlo seems confident about producing a win because he has expressed the desire to face the one and only Canelo Alvarez.
Not so long ago, the other Charlo, Jermell Charlo, confidently entered the squared ring against the fiery-haired Mexican. It wouldn’t be an understatement to say ‘Mell’ lost more than the fight; he lost his reputation as a world champion. Perhaps it’s revenge Jermall is looking for, as he expressed his desire to take on the Mexican superstar. However, a clash with Canelo isn’t his only goal! During a recent interview, Jermall explained he wants to be more active in the coming years.

Charlo isn’t pleased with Jose’s way of promoting the fight

The incident gained massive attention from fans, bringing eyes to the clash ahead.
However, according to an article from Boxing Scene, Charlo isn’t happy about all the trash talk. Charlo asserted Benavidez is doing it to promote the fight. “I mean, I guess he is trying to sell the fight,” said Charlo. However, Charlo isn’t happy, hinting at a beatdown during their upcoming fight. “I’m taking it personal, and I’m taking it seriously. I’m not taking his words lightly,” said Charlo.
