Canelo Alvarez is all set to enter the boxing ring once again this year. This time, he will lock horns with the IBF super-middleweight champ, Caleb Plant, for the undisputed 168-pound fight. Alvarez has taken many notable fights until now, but this contest is vital in its own way and fans cannot wait to see who comes out on top.

Recently, Plant and Alvarez were involved in their ceremonial weigh-ins. This was a star-studded event, wherein umpteen bigwigs marked themselves present. Among all the hotshots, the WBC middleweight champion, Jermall Charlo, who grabbed everyone’s attention after asserting a fiery statement about Canelo Alvarez.
Speaking to the media, he said, “I’ll go to Mexico and fight Canelo at his house. Ronnie (Shields), Ronnie, Ronnie, will we not fight Canelo at his house? We will go to Mexico. We love Mexico. We’re from Texas bro.”

Charlo attended the weigh-ins with his coach, Ronnie Shields. And he didn’t budge an inch about going after the P4P superstar, Canelo.
This is not the first time when the middleweight champ hit at his rival Alvarez. In the past, too, he took wild verbal digs at Canelo and challenged him for a fight. However, the unified super-middleweight champ had different plans altogether, and that was to claim all the 168-pound belts on the line.
