Adrien Broner’s highly anticipated return fight staggered the combat sports fraternity. Though the bout ended with Broner bagging the win with a unanimous decision, many big-wigs of the sport felt that the judges didn’t score the contest right.

Broner and Santiago both traded enough punches against each other. But, it was the ‘Problem’ who slightly edged over the Puerto Rican tonight. This win was extremely vital for Broner to staying relevant in the sport. The American stepped inside the ring after 25 months, and that was certainly visible in his performance tonight.

The WBC super-welterweight champ, Jermell Charlo, welterweight kingpin Terence Crawford, Teddy Atlas, and more laid their notions on Twitter pertaining to the fight results.

Teddy Atlas wrote, “Can I ask a question; was Santiago even in the ring tonight with Broner? Not according to the judges.”

Atlas seemed livid with the judges’ decision on this fight. He thought the match officials completely wrote off Santiago in this fight, who gave a stern test to the ‘Problem’.

Alongside him, Jermell Charlo tweeted, “WOW WWWWWTTTTTTTTFFFFFFFF !!!!! THATS CRAZY ANOTHER BS DECISION.”

The welterweight sensation, Terence Crawford abruptly wrote, ”dam” with laughing emojis.

Apart from these, many more stars detailed their thoughts on this fight. All of them shared the same juncture, wherein they felt the Puerto Rican pugilist, Santiago, got robbed in this contest.

The judges scored 116, 115, 117 in favor of Broner.
