Charlo has been relatively inactive in recent years. Considering the same, he is cutting no corners in training to be in the best shape possible. In a recent Instagram story, Charlo is seen not only training with former heavyweight world champ Roy Jones Jr. but also having a light spar with the boxing legend. Jones Jr. is considered to be one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. He boasts a stunning record of 66 victories with only 10 defeats.

In the video, Jones Jr. showcases various forms of throwing a jab. Intriguingly, Alvarez in his last defeat was out-jabbed by Dmitry Bivol. To see him train in jabbing infers that he has been scrutinizing Alvarez’s weakness. He stated, “It should be a good fight. You know both of the fighters a good fighters, but I think if we go to the distance, I think Charlo is going to win.”
