Joyce was pretty optimistic about fighting Oleksandr Usyk for the WBO title eliminator earlier this year- The winner among these two would have gotten his hands on the champ, Anthony Joshua. However, owing to a domino effect, this fight was one of many that fell through.

With that, Usyk directly got his opportunity to fight ‘AJ’, and Joyce was left in limbo. Now, ‘Juggernaut’ knows a fight and win will help him edge out the other contenders in the race.

That said, in his last fight, he beat Carlos Takam, and now his vision is clear about fighting Joseph Parker. This fight will prove to be a vital contest, as the winner will advance his chances to fight for the title ahead.
