Joe Rogan Draws ‘Elite-Level’ Parallels Between Terence Crawford and Boxing Legend; Mike Tyson Agrees

Boxing fans witnessed the most awaited collaboration between Joe Rogan and Mike Tyson on Hotboxin with Mike Tyson. Both men talked about the fight game, both from the perspective of boxing and MMA.

A year after Marvin Hagler’s death, Rogan and Tyson remembered him during the podcast and compared him to the current welterweight champion, Terence Crawford.

During the podcast, Tyson and Rogan were talking about some notable fighters in history, and they landed on the topic of Hagler.

Rogan and Tyson discussed some significant attributes of Hagler and compared him to Crawford. Rogan said,” Marvin back in that day, he was the best and he was switch-hitting.”

“He was, he was southpaw, he was orthodox, he’d go back and forth like the way Terence Crawford does it now like he’s one of the only guys that could really do it at an elite level like amongst like top-flight boxers of today.”

Rogan described how Marvin Hagler used both stances effectively to defeat his opponents. In the same vein, he compared Hagler’s style to that of Crawford’s.

He states that Terence Crawford is one of the few boxers who can use switch-hitting techniques.

Tyson agreed with Rogan’s view on Hagler. Moreover, he replied, ” He’s a tough guy, He’s a tough f**king guy.”

Kid Dynamite‘ and Rogan remembered more such qualities of the legendary boxer, Marvin Hagler in the podcast.

The fans adored his switch-hitting style, which often confused the opponent about his offensive angle. Notably, it’s been more than a year since Hagler passed away, but he will be remembered for his legacy.

Terence Crawford masters the switch-hitting technique

Crawford is one of the best boxers in the current generation. Significantly, he won all the 38 fights of his career with a knockout percentage of 76.32%.

According to Rogan, Terence Crawford has a significant skill of switch-hitting, which helps him to defeat his opponents.
