“With boxing still being behind closed doors and struggling back to its feet post-Lockdown, I wanted to give something of a gift to British boxing fans. Dubois versus Joyce is the best fight on the British boxing calendar and I want this to be something as many people as possible can enjoy. It’s a bonus that the added exposure gained from the fight will really help the boxers as they move forward with their careers.”

Daniel Dubois aims to make a statement

Triple D’ is coming off a blistering second-round TKO of Ricardo Snijders back on August 29, 2020. He retained his WBO international heavyweight title in the process and will look to add more hardware to his collection. Chiefly, he sent fans into a frenzy when he called for a statement win over Joyce via his social media.

Both the fighters are undefeated talents who have been on a collision course for a long period. Moreover, the forum for combat sports is wide open with several exciting match-ups in the pipeline. Heavyweight scraps like Dillian Whyte vs Alexander Povetkin 2 and Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 have generated some massive buzz. Dubois would like to inject himself into the narrative with a clinical win over Joyce.

The 11-0 fighter, Joyce, won’t be an easy outing by any means. He possesses a threat to Dubois and has a chip on his shoulder going into the fight. He has been grossly overlooked by some casual boxing fans within the community.
