The WBC silver super-lightweight title bout between Jose Zepeda and Henry Lundy certainly stayed true to its hype. Both the fighters put on an enigmatic performance and kept the fans at the edge of their seats. However, the champ, Jose Zepeda, reigned supreme with a UD win.

On the other hand, ‘Hank’ also showed up with an exuberant game plan. Hence, as the fight between the duo advanced, it only became even more intriguing.
In the end, Zepeda had his arm raised. Now, he will look to build on his win in 2021 itself.

Zepeda, in his illustrious boxing run, has taken on many hotshots. In what was his first title defense for his WBC silver super-lightweight strap, the 31-year-old did not veer from his game plan until the last gong.
With this win, ‘Chon’ improved to a momentous 34-2 record. He stuck to his guns, maintained his composure, thereby displaying a champion mindset and overcoming a veteran who was eager to knock him off his perch. Hence, it may be his biggest career win.
