Former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker spoke to iFL TV following a massive win accrued recently by his rival. Anthony Joshua earned a 9th-round stoppage win over challenger Kubrat Pulev in a bout that was a long-time in the making.
The Bulgarian didn’t have much on offer for Joshua, who dropped him multiple times leading to the finish.

Despite the win, ‘AJ’ has been facing some flak on social media for his performance and he’s criticized for being somewhat tentative. Not to mention, he was put on blast by lineal champion Tyson Fury via social media as well.

‘AJ’ and Fury will now collide against each other for complete heavyweight unification and Fury was quick to tear down his future opponent.
“Well there you go everyone, Anthony Joshua just sh** himself live on television he got asked did he want the fight, and he went around the bushes and put his ar*e in the edge.
“I want the fight, I want the fight next and I’ll knock him out inside three rounds. He’s a big bum dosser and I can’t wait to knock him out.”
Joseph Parker on Tyson Fury’s claim to end ‘AJ’ inside 3 rounds
Parker who fought Anthony Joshua back in 2018 to a rather one-sided loss knows more about ‘AJ’ than many vocal pundits out there.
Joseph Parker felt that Tyson Fury would emerge victorious in a possible showdown against Joshua. The two are expected to clash sometime in 2021 now that Pulev is in Anthony’s rearview mirror.
“Fury wins that fight. I just think that he’s a very smart boxer, he can fight and he’s showed it in his last fight.”

Additionally, Parker also spoke out on Fury’s claim that he’ll send Joshua packing inside of 3 rounds. “If he says that and he believes it then I’m sure he can. You’ve got two champions.

“Both of them have heart, they can both take a punch and they can both come back from adversity. It’s the fight we must see. It’s a fight that should be made and where we can see one champion, one unified champion.”
Joseph Parker isn’t alone in his sentiment to see one unified champion stand atop the heavyweight divisional landscape. Not to mention, the winner of the fight will also become a bonafide star across sports, period.
