Josh Taylor may appear in his home country of Scotland to defend his titles against Jack Catterall. After grabbing all four belts against Jose Ramirez in a career-defining collision, ‘The Tartan Tornado’ had desired to fight before his fans and family.
As his last fight against Ramirez was reportedly unavailable on PPV in Great Britain and most of Europe, it reportedly vexed Taylor. However, if he fights in Scotland, he may get his wish of having his fight on PPV in Great Britain.
According to the reports of Mike Coppinger, Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall can happen on December 18 at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scottland. 18-0 as a champion, Taylor will come across another unbeaten southpaw on bagging the fight.

Although Taylor has all the reasons to remain confident, Catterall actually holds certain features that can see him land an upset. Catterall has an unscratched record of 26-0, with 13 KOs under his belt. That’s exactly eight more professional fights on board than Taylor. Despite having more fights to his name, he is yet to attain a major title. Furthermore, he has not faced anyone like Taylor.

Josh Taylor appears to be at the peak of his career. Even though he had alarmed the super lightweight division long ago, several critics continued to doubt his chances against Jose Ramirez. It all came down to an in-ring scrap this year, where Taylor unleashed lopsided violence. As he is the absolute best in the division, now, there are most tests awaiting.
How well can Jack Catterall perform against Josh Taylor?
Catterall’s southpaw stance might help him decode Taylor’s game plan. However, Taylor will dwarf the Brit under several physical attributes. Nevertheless, given boxing’s unpredictability, Catterall can also envision himself winning.

But the exact matchup can differ greatly from that. Josh Taylor has been rumored to go against several more big names in recent times. Thus, it cites him to be ready for any challenge and, just like Ramirez, an undefeated Jack Catterall might not be too problematic for him.
