Williams will end a 21-month long layoff as he battles it out against the tough and talented Vladimir Hernandez. He authored a massive upset back in 2019 when he beat Jarrett Hurd and became the WBA and the IBF ‘super’ titleholder. He then lost his belts in another upset against Dominican fighter Jeison Rosario.

Since then, the former champ has tried to get back into the ring with the likes of Dennis Hogan and Brian Mendoza. However, certain misfortunes have kept ‘J rock’ outside the ring.

His opponent is a rising Mexican warrior, who is a volume puncher and has an iron chin. Even though Williams is the favorite to win this fight, Hernandez will not back down without a fight.
