WBC interim champion Katharina Thanderz has made her stance clear about what she wants next if she gets past Terri Harper. Thunder will take on WBO and IBF super-featherweight champion Terri Harper this weekend inside the SSE Arena in London.

The former kickboxer remains undefeated in her professional boxing career. Needless to say, she will look to extend her winning streak as she takes on a very dangerous and highly distinguished Terri “Belter” Harper.

“I have prepared myself to face the best version of Terri Harper. So I expect her to be in really good shape and I know it’s gonna be a really difficult fight for both of us. But I know it will be great,” she said.

Harper is coming off an incredible performance against Natasha Jonas, which ended in a draw. However, many boxing fans felt that Jonas did enough to dethrone Harper.

Needless to say, Katharina is paying no attention to the criticism and believes that Harper will be at her absolute best when both the featherweight elites steps inside the boxing ring this weekend.

Mikaela Mayer did just what she said she would do in the lead up to her title match against the then-undefeated Ewa Brodnicka. The former Olympian picked up a comfortable unanimous decision win to grab the vacant WBO super-featherweight title.

“I think some do, but I think that people who do doesn’t really know me. But the people who do know me, I think they have serious doubts about what’s gonna happen on Saturday. I am not focused on any other people, I am just focused on my own work.”

She also added that she is eyeing a potential title unification bout against Mikaela Mayer should she get past Harper this weekend.

Only time will tell what’s next for the female super-featherweight division. However, regardless of the result, Mikaela Mayer against either of the boxers for the undisputed strap is an interesting fight.
