Katie Taylor continues to cement her legacy as one of the greatest female boxers in the history of the sport. The undisputed lightweight champion of the world is not scared to step inside the ring against any opponent.

Speaking to “Behind the Gloves,” Taylor revealed that she is ready to face the undefeated and current WBO light-welterweight champion of the world, Chantelle Cameron.

Taylor said, “I have heard similar things before, we fought as an amateur and I beat her as an amateur as well. Chantelle is obviously a great fighter. I am happy and willing to fight whoever. I don’t talk bad to anyone, and I guess my career has shown that.”

Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron promises to be an instant classic

Chantelle Cameron is not new to the sport of boxing. She is equally distinguished and reigns as a two-weight world champion with just 12 professional bouts to her name. Cameron is fresh off a unanimous decision win over the then-undefeated Adriana Araújo. In the process, she grabbed the vacant WBC female light-welterweight title to add to her IBO female lightweight title.
