Undisputed lightweight queen Katie Taylor will return to the ring for the third time in 2021 and put her straps at stake against Kazakh boxer Firuza Sharipova on December 11 at the Echo Arena in London. 35-year-old Taylor has been beating A-listers for several years and looks likely to topple her next opponent.

However, Sharipova’s pro-ride has been near-perfect so far, standing at 14-1. Following an unsuccessful debut against Sofya Ochigava in 2016, the 27-year-old has been on a winning streak.

Besides, she has already tasted the IBA lightweight gold in 2020 after beating Happy Daudi. However, her upcoming fight with Taylor will undoubtedly be the biggest feature of her career.
