The high-voltage matchup might change the orthodox beliefs of the active roster as they believe Garcia could walk out with the belts. ‘Swift’ has all the chances of landing an upset and considering his in-ring experience, he is a legitimate threat for ‘The Truth’.

Errol Spence Jr. vs Danny Garcia is a fan-favorite fight

‘One Time’ connected with Behind The Gloves to shed light on the fight and pointed out some advantages for both- Spence Jr. and Garcia.

Keith Thurman said, “I expect Errol to bring in a lots of technique. I expect him to bring in his good defense. I like to see him try to control the ring with the jab. He was trying to do that against Shawn Porter, but it’s not going to work against Porter.”

He added, “Porter has that pendulum movement, this and that. Danny doesn’t do that. So, I think if he (Errol) wants to go back to that pin you down with a jab strategy. I think that might end up playing out well for him. He’s got to watch out for that big counters though.”

Thurman has previously faced Garcia and overcame the ‘Swift’ via decision. Thus, he knows the kind of trouble the 32-year-old can bring. So, he alarmed Errol Spence Jr. of it.

‘One Time’ continued, “Danny is very poised there, and he is going to be throwing Philly bricks. He will try to turn an arrow into a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. He is trying to clean his clock, you know. He is the hardest puncher that I have ever been in the ring with.”

The welterweight division is stacked with many top-rated boxers, hunting for the title eagerly. Danny Garcia is one of them. So, we cannot rule him out despite considering Errol Spence Jr’s constant dominance in the ring.
