Garcia was talking at the official kickoff press conference ahead of his fight with Fortuna at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. He promised his fans that he would be putting his whole heart into the upcoming bout.

Moreover, Garcia mentioned he is honored to fight at an arena where Bryant played. He said, “I’m doing it in this beautiful stadium where Kobe played. And Kobe was an inspiration to me.”

In fact, Garcia added he would bring in Bryant’s ‘Mamba Mentality’ to the fight. He said, “His mentality, you know, Mamba mentality. When you go in there. And you just don’t let a day go by without putting that work in. And that’s how I stand by just every day. I want to make the best out of every day.”
