

The crown prince of boxing and former five-division world champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr., is undoubtedly one of the richest athletes of all time. While he has earned handsomely from the sport, he is also an avid investor. Moreover, one of the most notable is his impressive real estate portfolio. It looks like rapper Kodak Black has joined him with an investment portfolio of his own. And the credit for the same goes to former US President, Donald Trump.

Black was formerly sentenced to a four-year jail term in 2019. Notably, he had made a false statement in order to purchase a firearm. His sentence was commuted by the then-president, Trump, before the end of his term in 2021.
As per BBC, talking about Black’s pardon, White House officials said, “Black is a prominent artist and community leader. He has committed to supporting a variety of charitable efforts. Such as providing educational resources to students. And to families of fallen law enforcement officers and the underprivileged.”

Black has since extended his commercial real estate portfolio. It was reported that he purchased a nearly 1-acre property in Pompano Beach, Florida. Moreover, he is said to have splurged USD 1.8 million on the property. Meanwhile, he was in attendance at the recent Super Bowl. And was also seen celebrating in Mayweather’s suite.

According to reports, Mayweather is a part owner of nine skyscrapers. This includes some of New York City’s biggest megastructures. And the biggest behemoth among these is the 93-story One Vanderbilt in Midtown Manhattan. Moreover, he also invested in CGI Merchant Group’s $650 million Hospitality Opportunity Fund.
