“I am ready for tomorrow. I tell him I respect him. Olympic champion, world champion, I respect him so much. But I am better boxer and tomorrow I show him. That’s what I tell him because I’m amazing. Tomorrow I show… I think he didn’t like that. But, time is changed. Nobody can stay the same. Time is changed, people is changed, everything is changed. Yesterday was one, today is different.”

When Pulev was asked if the reaction surprised him, he said, “Reaction don’t surprise me. No no, normal. You know he’s world champion now. Last day for him. Tomorrow is a different situation, the situation will be different now.”

Kubrat Pulev ready to dethrone Joshua?

Kubrat Pulev is possibly knocking on the door of his last title fight. The almost 40-year-old fighter has had a hard road to the top, but this may end up being his last crack at this title. Joshua has been proven vulnerable, especially with his first performance against Andy Ruiz Jr. It is imperative that AJ keeps his calm against Pulev and doesn’t let the thought of a Tyson Fury super-fight weight heavy on him.

Joshua has all the talent in the world to be a top boxer but is prone to distractions. Hopefully, the first Ruiz Jr fight taught him a lesson. He demolished the man that upset him in their rematch and will look to back it up with a strong performance against Pulev.

These are classic mind-games from Pulev. Joshua has to be smart and not fall into this trap and fight the way he planned on fighting.
