It is no surprise that Joshua enters the fight as the favorite and possibly has more supporters. But the purists are aware of the threat that Pulev brings, touting him as the superior pugilist over the world champion.
Meanwhile, Kubrat Pulev also considers him on the safer side. He believes that the ‘bad sides’ remain and Joshua will showcase that on fight night.
In an interaction with Matchroom Boxing, ‘The Cobra’ shed light on his upcoming opponent, sending fans into a frenzy.
Pulev said, “We see a lot of mistakes from Anthony. A lot of bad side and I think these mistakes, these bad sides stay. And I take and I will be good.”
He added, “For me, it’s important what I do in the ring and how I prepare, how is my strategy, how is my boxing. This is important.”

The matchup holds a lot more in store than just the world titles. If Anthony Joshua wins the fight, he can bag a title unification against WBC champion Tyson Fury. Or else, he might defend his WBO belt against the mandatory challenger in Oleksandr Usyk.
