On this festive Christmas day, Tyson Fury turned to social media with a post extending warm wishes to his fans and followers. However, the same joy wasn’t shared by his fans, who were more eager for his fight against Oleksandr Usyk in February next year.
On 28 October, ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury squared off against the mighty Francis Ngannou, winning the fight via a controversial split decision. However, before that fight unfolded, a clash with the Ukranian Usyk was formalized. Initially, the fight was supposed to happen on 23 December, but due to Ngannou’s surprisingly good performance and Fury’s injuries, the Usyk fight was pushed to 17 February. When Fury shared the Christmas wishes online from him and his family, fans erupted with excitement for the fight next year.

Tyson Fury wears a “You Big Dosser Sweater”
Turning to X (formerly Twitter), ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury wrote, “Wishing You All A Merry Xmas! Blessings To You And Yours. From The Fury’s.” Alongside the heartfelt wishes in the caption, the heavyweight champion shared a charming picture of himself posing in a deep blue sweater, the kind people wear in the holidays.

It featured a line many must have heard Fury say on many occasions, “You Big Dosser.” Interestingly, the undefeated boxer has other merchandise with the same branding that people can buy. These merchandise can be bought on Fury’s official website. However, what people were more focused on was Fury’s upcoming fight.
Fan claims this Christmas would be Fury’s last as an undefeated boxer
Due to Fury’s massive online following, the tweet quickly gained traction among fans, collecting over 150K views, more than 6K likes, and several comments about his fight against Usyk. Some extended their wishes to Fury while others were deep in anticipation for the February fight. One user asserted they can’t wait for the February fight between the two great heavyweights.
