Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul had its fair share of controversies during the lead-up to their fight. While the duo, alongside Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, broke several records last Friday night, the Netflix showdown continues to draw public outrage—especially regarding the boxing legend’s age. However, the Problem Child remains unfazed.

Savoring his triumph, El Gallo‘s win remains tainted by boxing pros’ love towards their favorite Uncle Mike. From Gervonta Davis and Artur Beterbiev to Daniel Dubois and Muhammad Ali’s grandson Nico Ali Walsh, several prominent names have called out the 27-year-old star to avenge Tyson’s loss. Meanwhile, fans joined the chorus of criticism with viral memes, and this time, late MLB legend Babe Ruth fell victim.

Jake Paul makes a statement with no words

From Joe Biden to late boxing legend Muhammad Ali, fans have named several elderly as Jake Paul’s next opponents in their viral memes. However, a particular troll post remains special, suggesting late MLB legend Babe Ruth as the Ohio native’s next opponent, but not in a boxing ring. The meme states, “BREAKING: Jake Paul has agreed to a home run derby against Babe Ruth, who passed in 1948.” The viral post targeted two birds with one stone—a jab at Paul’s choice of an older opponent in Mike Tyson and his ongoing tradition of boxing individuals from different sports, mainly MMA.

The Problem Child, known for his quick wit, addressed this viral post that garnered over 200,000 likes. El Gallo shared the post on his Instagram story, opting not to comment—showcasing his ability to maintain a sense of humor and remain unfazed by online banter. However, this is not the only jab he received from the MLB community.

Former MLB player Jose Canseco also joined among those criticizing the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Netflix showdown. In one of his X posts, the former Oakland Athletics star expressed his disapproval, “Oh my God Jake Paul might Tyson fight what a joke ta the fleecing of America.” However, the Pauls and the Canseco family did have good relations a couple of years ago.

Jake’s brother Logan Paul and Jose’s daughter Josie Canseco briefly dated in 2020. However, things turned sour after Logan and Josie mutually broke up. The pro baseball outfielder even turned to social media, calling out the Paul brothers for a boxing match. “I will fight anyone of the Logan Brothers they have enough for anyone with any type of talent yet or fighting skills,” Jose Canseco wrote.

To this, Logan gave a brutal reply: “No problem. I love smashing Cansecos.” Joining his brother, the Problem Child also made a critical comment, stating, “Old ppl should stay off social media.”

While Jake Paul remains the best when it comes to earning big paychecks with only a few professional boxing matches, it’s time for him to fight an active pro boxer, especially if he wants to achieve his world championship dream. Who do you think El Gallo should fight next? Share below.
